Answers to common questions about pages, links, business accounts, analytics and your account.

Getting started

Setting up your account and your first page.

  • A free link-in-bio and mini business page. You get one public page for your links, social accounts and contact details, and a dashboard that shows how people use it.

  • No. TapNest is completely free. There are no paid plans, trials or upgrades, and we never ask for payment details.

  • Register with your email address or with Google. You then choose a username and an account type, and the set-up steps walk you through your details, links and look.

  • Choose individual for a personal, creator or professional page. Choose business for a company, shop, clinic, agency or any other organisation. Business accounts can add their organisation's details; individual accounts are never asked business questions.

  • Your page has its own TapNest address that ends with your username. You can open and copy it from your dashboard.

Profiles and links

  • As many as you need. There is no limit on the number of links.

  • Yes. Drag links into the order you want, or move them with the keyboard. The order you set is the order visitors see.

  • Yes. Turn a link off and it disappears from your public page. Turn it back on whenever you need it.

  • Your name, a photo or logo, a short bio, your social accounts, and contact buttons for email, phone and WhatsApp if you add them.

  • Yes. Choose a background, a button style, a font and your own accent colour. Changes go live when you save, and you can change them as often as you like.

  • Yes. Unpublish your page from the dashboard and it is no longer public. You can also choose whether search engines may index it.

Business accounts

  • A page for your organisation with its own details, such as its name, industry and country, alongside the same links, contact buttons, QR code and analytics every account gets.

  • No. Only the basics are needed to set up a business page. Questions about size, branches and the software you use are optional; you can answer them later or leave them blank.

  • The company behind TapNest also makes ERP software for businesses. Your optional answers help us understand whether it could be useful to you. Leaving them blank does not limit anything on your page.

Analytics and QR codes

  • Profile views, link clicks, contact taps, your click-through rate, your top links, the websites visitors came from and the kind of device they used, for a date range you choose.

  • No analytics cookies are set and visitors' IP addresses are not stored. Repeat views are told apart with a one-way daily fingerprint that changes every day and is never linked across days.

  • Open the QR code section of your dashboard to download it. You can also add your own logo to the middle of the code.

  • Yes. The code points at your page, not at individual links, so editing your links does not affect it. If you change your username, your page address changes too, so download a new code.

Your account and privacy

  • Arabic and English, with a right-to-left layout for Arabic. You can switch language from any page.

  • Choose “Forgot password” on the sign-in page and we'll email you a link to set a new one.

  • Yes, from your profile in the dashboard, as long as the new username is available. Your page address changes with it.

  • Your account details, what you put on your page, and the analytics for your page. Our privacy and cookie policies describe this in detail; both are drafts pending legal review.
