Terms of Service

Draft — pending legal review

This page is a working draft written from how the product is built today. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, it is not legal advice, and it will be replaced by reviewed text before launch.

The service

TapNest lets you create a page that holds your links, contact details and social accounts, and share it with one address. Business accounts can also show their organisation's details. The service is free: there are no paid plans, no trial that expires, and we will not ask you for payment details.

Your account

You are responsible for what you publish and for keeping your sign-in details secure. Provide accurate information when you register, and keep your email address current so we can reach you about your account.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you publish. You give us permission to host and display it so the service can work. Do not publish content you have no right to use, and do not link to material that is unlawful or designed to deceive or harm the people who follow your links.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to impersonate someone else, to distribute malware, to run phishing or fraud, to send spam through the contact form, or to attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the platform or to other users' accounts.

Suspension

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free, and features may change as the product develops.

Still to be decided before launch

This draft does not yet answer: which organisation provides the service and under which country's law; how to close an account; how disputes are handled; the notice period for changes to these terms; and the limitation of liability.
